What are some of the ways in which a person suffers a broken heart? The ways can vary and will often deal with a person you love leaving. It could even deal with a pet dying. Often, we do not realize how much a loved one means to us until that person is no longer around. Some may wonder what exactly it is that a broken heart feels like. Well, it is not all mental anguish as there is physical pain associated with the problem as well.

You could spend hours, or even days curled up on your bed waiting for this dull pulsating pain to subside. It's not abnormal to stay in one position for many hours, and no one will blame you for doing so. During this time you will reflect on times that have passed, and though they might have only been a few days or hours before, they will feel as if they were part of another lifetime. It's amazing how far away that past can seem to be after only a short time.
